Carr's West is the crown jewel of hunting options. We hunt 15,000 acres of exclusive private ground. We do a lot of dry field hunts, but also ponds, and river hunts on the Arkansas. We are located 15-minutes south of the Quivira Wildlife Refuge and just 30-minutes south of Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife area. Both of these systems are known for wintering ten's of thousands of ducks and geese. We also target sandhill cranes as well as mixing in some pheasant combo hunts at Carr's West. Carr's West is located in Stafford, but the larger town of Hutch is located 45-minutes to the east. A great place to get items you may need including your licenses.

At Carr's West we have it all in central Kansas. Mallards, pintails, wigeon, gadwalls, teal, a diverse population of geese from cacklers, lessers, ross, blue's, greaters, snows, specks, and yes Sandhill cranes.

We access our hunting areas with UTV's eliminating a bunch of long walks. Most of our hunts we run out of Tanglefree Panel Blinds. Occasionally we will have to use layouts. We understand being comfortable while you hunt is important.

In central Kansas we hunt everything from cattle tanks, the Arkansas river, large creeks and of course AG fields. There is nothing like watching several thousand ducks and geese work your rig in a AG field.
